第三阶段（诱导问题）
须知:
当面试官要求您问他/她一些问题来收集资料时，您知道第三阶段已经开始。这可以算是一种角色扮演游戏。想在这个阶段取得高分，您必须做到以下几点：
1）明白自己角色的处境并知道自己需要什么资料；
2）控制局面，问的问题必须能发掘最多的资料或能解决某些问题；
3）在面试官给您的一些卡片中选用一些准确和适合的问题发问。
应做和不应做的事:
应做的事
1）肯定自己完全明白自己所扮演的角色和处境；
2）将过程分开3部分：设定背景，询问问题和说“Thank you”和“Goodbye”；
3）在角色扮演前先说明您的角色和您想知道什么；
4）尽量问多些问题发掘所有资料，您至少需问10条问题。
不应做的事
1）您对状况不肯定的时候，不要勉强假装自己明白，您可以请面试官再重复一次；
2）在未设定背景前不要开始问卡片上的问题。尽量令对话显得自然；
3）不要在题目上找些字眼来组成问题，题目的作用只是一个起首的介绍，它有时并不能组成自然流畅的问题；
4）除非题目要求，不要问任何个人问题。

第四阶段（思考和态度）
须知:
在第四阶段，您会被要求更详细地讲出您的未来计划。面试官会将话题带向关于您将来的一些计划，如您想有好的表现，您必须用到以下几点：
1）详细地谈及您的未来计划（通常是关于您的工作或学业），避免需要面试官太多提示；
2）详细讨论什么事情会或不会发生，讲出您对将来会发生的不同事物的看法；
3）用简单的语言讲出复杂的意思。
应做和不应做的事:
应做的事：
1）预先计划说话的方式，应如何将您的未来计划表达出来；
2）准备所有可能的W/H问题（即what why which where when how 等等）的答案；
3）适合的句子和语法的表达；
4）对深奥的问题，您可尝试推测，尽量用简单的英语表达深奥的意思，不要随便放弃作答。
不应做的事：
1）不要回答得太简单。例如，被问及您的工作计划时，千万不要只回答“我毕业后便到一家公司里做”。您可说出公司名称，您可想象您的职位；
2）不要用太多“will”这个字，在英语词汇中有很多字都可用来表达将来的事。“will”这个字太确定，不适合用在计划上。

第五阶段（结论）
须知:
在第四阶段完成后，口语测验差不多已完结。在第五阶段，面试官会感谢您的来临和总结整个面试，您也应该多谢他/她，在临走前说再见。
应做和不应做的事:
应做的事：
1）继续保持轻松态度直至离开面试室；
2）有力地、有信心地握手并道谢面试官；
3）请记着，最后印象和第一印象同样重要。您可在临走前这样说:“Thank you very much for your time. I enjoyed talking with you. Goodbye.”。
不应做的事：
1）千万不要在测验完成后对面试官说您有多高兴考试已完成，您也不应在面试官面前评论自己的表现；
2）不要问考试官您的成绩，他/她是一定不会说的；
3）不要表现过分热情，您只需保持微笑地离开便可。
