定语的翻译要特别注意位子上的变化，即：如果是单词修饰名词就放在中心词的前面，这和汉语的词序是一样的；如果定语太长，定语就要放在中心词的后面，这时就要注意断句，重复先行词，例如：
1.I have the same problem as you concerning the learning of English
在学英语的问题上，我和你有同样的问题。

翻译下面句子：

1.The effective work of maintaining discipline is usually performed by students who advise the academic authorities.

2.The nomads who made these markings lived by hunting and fishing during the last Ice Age which began about 35,000 B.C. and ended about 10,000 B.C.

1. 有效的维持纪律通常是由一些学生来做的，而这些学生则负责给学校的领导提建议。
