“Good”和“bad”是两个尖锐的反义词，在惯用语中，也时时可见。下面便是些例子：

Through a senior officer s good offices, John got the permission to extend his visit.
13. The good old days：过去的好时光
When old friends meet, they like to chat about the good old days.
14. Bad blood：感情恶劣
There has been bad blood between the two in-laws.
