The vegetables were fresh, but the meat was tough.

A: Ive heard about that restaurant. What was the food like?

B: Well, its known for its modern cooking.

Notes 注释

1. Sometimes, theres very little good to say about a restaurant. For example, here the customer found the meat so tough that he wouldnt recommend it: The vegetables were fresh, but the meat was tough. I wouldnt recommend it at all.
有时，对一家餐馆没有什么好的评价，如此处，顾客发现肉很硬，所以他不会推荐这家餐馆：蔬菜很新鲜，但是肉很硬。我绝对不会推荐它了。

2. To ask someones opinion about a place you know about, but havent been to, for example, a restaurant, you can ask:Ive heard about that restaurant. What was the food like?
