Background

A 60/40 joint venture with local partner having the majority share for the time being, the foreign partner having option to acquire majority later on.
The headquarters and manufacturing operation is located at Zhejiang province. There are about 24 branches/rep offices all over China to carry out sales, installation and after sales services.

Qualifications

University graduation in accounting and finance.
Recognized professional qualifications for more than 8 years.
Total working experience > 12 yrs, out of which >6 year solid experience in China, at least 5 years manager level at manufacturing JV in China.
Fluent in English and Putonghua.

Reports to the Managing Director of JV and in matrix to Foreign Partner’s regional finance function.

Main responsibility areas:

Act as a Foreign partner’s representative in JV

Responsible for developing, organizing, training and managing Company’s Finance function, including head-office, factory and branches, in a professional and cost efficient way.

Responsible for streamlining Company’s reporting systems to generate accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with local statutory regulations and as per Foreing Partner’s standards, as far as applicable, including variance analysis.

Heading the Company’s Business Planning activities (Budgeting & Forecasting).

Exercising due operational control on all spending.

Responsible for financial /accounting system development.

Company’s assets Management

Ensure all tax compliance and timely tax filing, as well as tax planning

Responsible for Company’s treasury activities (cash flow control, planning and arranging sufficient funding).

Statutory audit (liasoning with company’s statory auditors)

Establisment & implementation of Company’s Internal Control activities

Responsible for Company’s Risk Management (insurance coverage).
