蔡嗣经，男，1952年10月生，江西南昌人，曾在澳大利亚新南威尔士大学和日本京都大学留学，获硕士和博士学位。现任北京科技大学教授、博士生导师、教务处处长。曾先后为本科生、硕士生、博士生主讲多门课程；指导已毕业硕士研究生十余名、已毕业和在读博士生三十余名。获省部级教学成果一等奖1项、二等奖2项。主要科研方向为：（1）矿床开采理论与技术，着重于采矿理论与方法、矿山岩土力学、矿山新技术等方面的研究；（2）采矿工程计算机模拟及应用研究；（3）矿山安全技术工程研究。自1980年以来在国内外发表科技论文100余篇，出版专著2本，参编学术著作3种,获省部级科技进步二等奖3项，三等奖1项。

Dr. Sijing CAI, male, borne in October, 1952 and in the Jiangxi province, CHINA, is a chair professor of mining engineering in the Department of resources engineering,
School of civil and environmental engineering, University of Science &. Technology Beijing (USTB), and the Dean of Education administration Office, USTB. He is also
a member of Degree committee and a member of Academic affairs committee of USTB, a member of safety engineering education guidance committee supported by the
China ministry of education. He has given lectures both for undergraduate and postgraduate students on various subjects, and a number of postgraduate students both for
master degree and Ph.D. degree had been or is under his supervision. In recent years, he has received one First-class reward and two Second-class rewards on Education
achievement from the Beijing City government or from the China ministry of education.
The most interesting research areas for Professor CAI are that:
(1)Advancedtechnologies in mining engineering, especially for development of new mining methods, geomechanics, new mining equipment, and new techniques.
(2)Computer modeling and its application in mining industry.
(3)Safety technology and safety engineering both in mining and in general industries. Since 1980, he has published 5 technical books and more than 100 papers. |
