The F.B.I. regularly makes up a list of the nation s ten worst criminals. This list, called the "Ten Most Wanted." is posted as widely as possible. Pictures of the wanted men and women appear in post offices, newspapers, and police stations. Publicity helps the police to track down people on the list.
