如何利用现有资料来准备新GRE考试

如何最大限度的利用现有的GRE备考资料呢？为了解决这个问题，首先我们要了解一下GRE改革的历史。 　　2011年8月，ETS将推出全新的基于自适应机考考试形式的GRE考试，很多准备前往美国读研究生的同学不得不面临着考试备考资料不足的问题。那么如何最大限度的利用现有的GRE备考资料呢？为了解决这个问题，首先我们要了解一下GRE改革的历史。
　　过去十年来，GRE改革已是常态。无论是99年之后在大陆地区开始的GRE机考，还是02年之后，机考形式变成笔考与机考形式相结合（取消逻辑考试，改为分析性写作），包括这次改革，ETS都一直强调考试中对于考生逻辑能力的测试。众所周知，GRE与TOEFL考试的侧重点不同前者重在智商测试，后者在于语言能力测试。而ETS认为智商的测试似乎主要在考生逻辑能力的测试。从最初的逻辑考试到分析性写作，从类比反义词汇题到阅读当中的类比题（主要提问方式“下述哪一选项所述现象和原文第N行的说法比较相像？”或者说“下列哪个选项为原文的观点提供了一个很好的例子？”）和逻辑题（主要方式“哪个选项成立，会support/weaken原文的观点”），都在考察逻辑能力。现在ETS希望新GRE考试能够得到商学院的认可，与GMAT考试竞争，这种对于逻辑能力的测试有过之而无不及。
　　有了这种基本认识，我们再来看下这次改革变动最大的部分——填空。新GRE考试去掉了类比和反义词考察，填空部分除了单句题目（1-2空格）以外增加了两种形式：第一，段落填空 （ 1-N个空格 3选1）；第二，单个句子六选二填空。来源：www.100test.com

　　经典悲剧与现代悲剧，这两个词一出来，必然构成反义关系。第二句讲现代悲剧是“austere and stripped down”，那么找一个作为“朴素和坦诚”的反义词，所以第一个空选 C、multifaceted。
　　第二空：
　　所在句子是so……that结构，前面的its representation 指代的是现代悲剧，所以”nothing 空格”意思应该仍然是“朴素和坦诚”。当然由于nothing是否定词，所以空格应该选“austere” 的反义，所以第二空选 F extraneous.
