　　女：Victor，this is an important phrase to know. Usually in the west when two friends go out to dinner， they split the check.

　　男：这个on me非常重要。大家一起去吃饭，每人付一半，就叫split the check.

　　女：This means they each pay half， or they pay for what they had.

　　男：split the check就是每人付自己所吃东西的钱。

　　女：But when someone says， “its on me，” it means， “Im going to pay for you.”

　　男：但是大家要注意Its on me.就是说我付所有的钱。

　　女：Its on me.

　　男：Its on me.

　　女：Okay， thats all for today.
