朱屺瞻艺术馆将于4月15日，以“建筑”与“将来”的关联为主题，推出马岩松、王晖两位青年建筑师的作品展现于大众眼前。

中国现今已是世界上建筑量最大的国度。许多重量级的外国建筑师及事务所纷纷进入中国，推出了像国家大剧院、奥运会主会场等标志性建筑作品，建筑艺术在中国也成为最活跃的艺术门类之一。此外，当代艺术展也成为先进建筑的试验场，在很多艺术展上不难发现建筑师的身影，比如多位建筑师合作进行的当代艺术展空间设计、装置艺术家与建筑师的合作，以及建筑师亲自创作艺术作品等等。

马岩松这位70年代出生的建筑师虽然年轻，已经踏进国际建筑舞台。他的事务所取名为“MAD”，寓意“疯狂”，参与过很多城市的设计竞赛，许多因方案的大胆新奇而没人相信这些建筑能盖起来。他所做出的建筑设计是实践自己提出的MAD要反映现代艺术、探索应用数字化时代设计的城市环境和生活的有机建筑语言。近日，MAD 事务所赢得了加拿大第七大城市密西沙加市的超高层设计竞赛，获得赢得当地一栋50层高的地标性公寓楼设计权，这是中国建筑师首次通过国际公开竞赛赢得设计权。

王晖的建筑设计有着自己独特的风格。他的设计作品会体现较强的地域性，在不同的地域设计的作品，都能最大限度地去利用当地的资源，体现当地的文化特点。他的设计也很随心所欲，只要是他觉得好的东西都会用在自己的设计中，以表达自己随时随地的思想状态，所以他的设计没有固定风格。他试图设计的东西有两种，一种是特别快的，比社会发展的速度还要快。一种是静态的，类似于太极拳的缓慢，以静制动的作品。

Two young architects Yansong Ma and Wang Hui’s work will be on displayed around the themes “architecture” and “future” since April 15th at ZhuQizhan Art Museum.

As the most architecture-saturated country, China has attracted a number of a-list overseas architects and studios which contributed to this nation a handful of works as the national grand theatre and Olympic stadium. Architecture accordingly comes to the fore of arts in China, and on top of that, exhibitions of contemporary art provide a laboratory for cutting-edge architectural works, for instance, architects frequent the shows offering the space layout as well as some artworks, or in other cases, collaborating with some installation artists.

Yansong Ma, born 1970s and pretty young still, has already stepped onto the international stage of the industry. And his studio, oddly named MAD, has participated in many competitions with a number of original projects, most of which went way too bold and edgy to convince the people with their feasibility and failed to win out. Ma’s practice focuses on the representation of the contemporaneity and the exploration of the harmonious combination of architecture, urban environment and lifestyle in a digitalized time. Lately, MAD stood out in a Canadian competition and will work on a 50-storey complex building in the city Mississauga.

With a unique style, Wang Hui highlights the regional features in his design, that’s to say, the layout varies with the locale, making most of the local resource and embodying its cultural traits. His unstrained design refuses to fit in any pigeonholes but absorbs anything he feels good to enhance the simultaneous facet of his state of mind. And his design mainly falls into two categories, the rapid pace that echoes the evolving social changes on one hand, and the static that rules the soul of the work on the other.

朱屺瞻艺术馆是以中国当代著名书画大师朱屺瞻先生命名的一座公立美术馆，1995年建成开馆。走过十年创业之路，本馆将以“传统创新、现代经典与当今视觉”为学术定位，并以“传承历史文脉、创新现代经典、培养艺术新锐”为办馆理念。它既是收藏、陈列与研究朱屺瞻先生书画艺术的专门机构，也是开展国内外传统与当代艺术交流的重要窗口，履行中小型艺术博物馆的功能。

With a ten years\ long history, Zhu Qizhan Art Museum is one of the major public museums in Shanghai and serves as a platform for both traditional and contemporary art.
