美国签署中国2010年上海世博会参展合同实用英语

　　世博网7月10日消息：今天上午，美国政府与上海世博会事务协调局签署中国2010年上海世博会参展合同。上海市政府副秘书长、上海世博会事务协调局局长洪浩与美国展区总代表费乐友代表双方签署参展合同，中国2010年上海世博会总代表华君铎会签合同。至此，上海世博会共有240个官方参展者确认参展，其中212个签署了《参展合同》。美国驻沪总领事康碧翠和上海世博会事务协调局副局长黄健之出席签约仪式。
　　签约仪式上，美国公布了“欢庆2030年”的参展主题，美国馆展示空间里将由一位美籍华裔青年带领游客徜徉于未来时空，亲身体验2030年的美国城市，让参观者通过感性游历领悟“可持续发展、团队精神、健康生活、奋斗和成就”这四大核心理念。
　　The United States today signed the participation contract with the 2010 Shanghai World Expo organizer to officially confirm it will attend.
　　The US Pavilion will showcase sustainability, teamwork, health, and struggle and achievements.
　　Jose Villarreal, Commissioner General for the US participation to the Expo, said that United States is happy to participate in Expo 2010 and this will boost pavilion construction. He said that he is committed to building an outstanding pavilion to showcase the best of the US.
　　Villarreal said that his hometown St Antonio city in Texas was a World Expo site in 1968 and the Tower of the Americas was preserved there as a reminder of significance of World Expo.
